Charles’ father passed away so he lives with his mother and his three siblings in the community of Agave-Kuve, in the Volta region of Ghana. The family lives in a mud brick home with an aluminum sheet for a roof and access their drinking water from the river. His mother sells items in the village but her income is very low.
An education is so important in Ghana because it helps to break the cycle of poverty. At the International Needs school in Agave-Kuve, children would receive a warm meal, a quality education, school supplies, medical care, and Christian nurture.
