Emmanuel lives with is parents, five brothers and one sister in a cement block house in the community of Agortorme, in the Volta region of Ghana. His father is a fabric weaver and his mother trades small items in the local market. They work hard to provide for their children and other family members but their income is meager. Emmanuel likes the meal served in school since he usually comes to school without food. His favorite game at school is soccer which he plays with his friends during break time.
In countries like Ghana, many families do not have the money to pay school fees for their children to go to school. Children receives food, clothing, medical care, schooling, Christian nurture, and Bible teaching at the International Needs School in Agortorme.
