Martin’s father passed away so he lives with his mother and his brother and sister in Zambia. His mother works as a farmer but her income is very low and unsteady and she needs help supporting her family and sending Martin to school.
Orphans and children who still have their parents attend school at the Misaka Home, which cares for over 200 children. Children in the International Needs Zambia sponsorship program receive a quality education, school supplies, a uniform, shoes and a backpack, a blanket, medical care, and spiritual care. Their families also receive monthly food baskets and spiritual and financial counseling.
