Emmanuella lives with her parents, brother, and two sisters in Amrahia, a small community in the Volta region of Ghana. They live in a rented two room house without water. They get water from a community well. Her father is a taxi driver and her mother sells and trades small items in the local market. Their income is very low and unstable. Therefore, they are not able to meet the basic needs of the family and an education is not something they are able to provide. Emmanuella would love to be sponsored so she can stay in school.
