Popi’s family lives in northern Bangladesh. She has one younger brother. Popi’s father is a daily laborer. He works in other men’s field and gets a small amount of money for his work. The family lives in MONGA area. MONGA is seasonal food insecurity in ecologically vulnerable and economically weak parts of Northern Bangladesh. From September - November the people are unemployed and have no income. The people have no food and live a very miserable life. Popi is so happy to have the opportunity to stay at International Needs Savar Children’s Village where she will received food, education, and shelter.
