Julita’s family is from the northwest part of Bangladesh. She lives with her parents, her older brother, and her younger sister. The family lives in a hut made of mud, bamboo, and wood. Julita’s father goes out each day to find work in other people’s fields and Julita’s mother is a housewife. They both work hard, but they earn a very small income. Julita’s parents could not afford for her daily needs. There is not a school close by where they live. Julita and her parents are so grateful for the opportunity for her to live and study at the International Needs Savar Children’s Village.
An education is so important in Bangladesh because it helps to break the cycle of poverty and give hope for a brighter future. Sponsorship provides children with an education, a school uniform and supplies, a warm meal, medical care, and they are lovingly taught the Word of God at the Savar Children’s Village.
