Trisha lives with her parents and her younger sister in the northern part of Bangladesh in the Naogaon district. The family lives in a one room hut made of bamboo, wood, and mud. They get drinking water from the local well. Trisha’s father is a barber, he works in a shop that is owned by someone else. If the shop is closed, he is unable to work. Trisha’s mother is a housewife. They both work hard, but they are unable to afford the daily necessities of their family and they need help in order for Trisha to continue to attend school.
An education in is so important because it helps to break the cycle of poverty and give hope for a brighter future. Sponsorship provides children with an education, a school uniform and supplies, a warm meal, medical care, and they are lovingly taught the Word of God at the International Needs Naogaon Slum School in Bangladesh.
