Neyser Daniel Barranco Reyes
Neyser gets a ride to school on the back of a motorbike each day as he lives far from school. He lives with his mother, three brothers, and sister in his grandparents’ house. The house is made of cement and has sand floors. It is in a slum called La Playa, on the outskirts of Barranquilla. His father passed away two years ago. His mother works several jobs when she can find work but she is unable to meet the needs of the large family and also send Neyser to school. Therefore, he needs assistance to continue his education. Neyser likes to play sports and study.
La Rosa de Saron is an educational outreach to a displaced community suffering from poverty and persecution. Children at the school receive a quality education, school uniforms, and health care. They are lovingly taught the Word of God.
