Dorcas lives in a mud house in the small community of Doblogonno, in the Accra region of Ghana. Her father is a carpenter who has 2 wives and 11 children to support and her mother sells items in the village as a petty trader. Their income is low and they are unable to support their large family and send Dorcas to school.
An education is so important because it helps to break the cycle of poverty and give hope for a brighter future. Sponsorship provides children with an education, a school uniform and supplies, a warm meal, medical care, and they are lovingly taught the word of God at the International Needs School in Doblogonno, Ghana.
