Felicia lives with her parents and her five siblings in the small community of Mepe. Her father sells local herbal medicine and her mother sells onions, peppers and tomatoes on a small table in front of their home. Their income is very low and only covers their rent and some food and they are unable to provide for Felicia’s basic needs or her education.
An education is so important in Ghana because it helps to break the cycle of poverty and give hope for a bright future. Sponsored children receive food, clothing, medical care, schooling, Christian nurture, and Bible teaching through the International Needs school in Mepe, Ghana.
