Benson is an orphan. His mother has passed away and his father is not around and has never taken care of him. Benson lives with his elderly grandma and his younger sister. Their home is made of mud bricks and they have access to clean drinking water. They live in the Balboa community about one mile from the school that Benson attends. His grandma does not have a consistent source of income and in order for Benson to remain in school and reap the benefits of an education and sponsorship, they need your help.
Children who have lost their parents and children who still have their parents attend school at Misaka. Children in the International Needs Zambia sponsorship program receive a quality education, school supplies, a uniform, shoes and a backpack, a blanket, medical care, and spiritual care. Their families also receive monthly food baskets and spiritual and financial counseling.
