Jonathan’s parents both passed away so he lives with his grandmother in a small community in Zambia. His grandmother works as a farmer but her income is very low and she cannot afford to send Jonathan to school.
Orphans and children who still have their parents attend school at the Misaka Home, which cares for over 200 children. Children in the International Needs Zambia sponsorship program receive a quality education, school supplies, a uniform, shoes and a backpack, a blanket, medical care, and spiritual care. Their families also receive monthly food baskets and spiritual and financial counseling.
