Josephine’s father passed away so she lives with her mother and her siblings in Zambia. Her mother works as a farmer but her income is very low and unsteady and she needs help sending Josephine to school.
Orphans and children who still have their parents attend school at the Misaka Home, which cares for over 200 children. Children in the International Needs Zambia sponsorship program receive a quality education, school supplies, a uniform, shoes and a backpack, a blanket, medical care, and spiritual care. Their families also receive monthly food baskets and spiritual and financial counseling.
