Join us for life altering trips to some of the most exciting places on the planet. You will have opportunity to meet our national workers, participate in ministry, and help equip nationals in business or ministry while learning some of the unique challenges we face in bringing the gospel to these countries. Where feasible, you might visit sites like the Himalayan Mountains, Pyramids of Giza, Hippos in Lake Tengrela, or the Caribbean Sea.
This is a rugged, backpacking trip in high altitudes to the northwest of the country. We have three communities where we work and will be focusing on asset-based church-driven development assessment then putting together a strategic plan with our church planters. The dates are October 8 – 16, 2017.
A combined medical and assessment team will begin to think through how IN USA can come alongside the work in this Muslim majority country. Medical team will assess the opportunity at a medical clinic and maternal clinic as well as join the assessment team to identify healthcare issues among unengaged people groups. Dates are November 8 – 18, 2017.
Seminary in a Suitcase will provide ministry training for Kogi leaders in the jungle of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains. Ministry training will focus on missionary principles and youth ministry in preparation for a summer short-term team that will work with children and begin engaging traditional Kogi communities. January 8 – 18, 2018.
A research trip to explore opportunities to engage a tribe in the northeastern part of the country. The trip will assess the opportunity and needs of the Ik to determine how we might be able to effectively engage them with the gospel. Evangelism and church planting might not necessarily be the first step as we learn about how to be the hands of Jesus. Dates in early February 2018.
Our vocational training center in Cairo equips people with job related skills like computer skills, cell phone repair and cosmetology. The assessment team will participate in teaching seminars on small business planning and financial management for small businesses. The training is vital for graduates as they look to begin small businesses that will provide financially for their families. Dates in early March.
