There are 134,000 registered Syrian refugees living in Egypt, with some estimating that the total is closer to 300,000. Most live in deplorable conditions and face harassment, rejection, and violence daily.
These refugees are strangers in a land that is not their home and they struggle to find a safe place to live. Many end up living in under-resources areas with no police protection or access to healthcare, government assistance, or transportation.
Nathan felt God’s calling to minister to these refugees, so he began an outreach program. He regularly holds gatherings where they share the Gospel message of hope and bless refugees with food baskets, shoes, blankets, and personal hygiene items.
Over 500 refugees attended a recent meeting. They were mostly Muslim people, but they were open
to hear the Gospel and thirteen people gave their lives to Christ.
By being the hands and feet of Jesus during an international crisis, International Needs is showing Christ’s love in a tangible, life-changing way.
