2017 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year – Rody Rodeheaver
On October 6th, 2017, International Needs US President Emeritus Rody Rodeheaver was awarded the 2017 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by Huntington University. This honor was a lifetime in the making and we are thrilled to celebrate with Rody and his wife, Kathy.
Huntington University put together a video of Rody, with stories and images of his life as a student as well as his ministry career. You can watch the video here – Rody shares about International Needs starting at 6:39.
About a year ago, Rody was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. His life now includes dialysis three times a week and limited energy.
Rody and Kathy are navigating this new reality together and are thankful for the many people who are praying for them. We get to see Rody here in the office now and then and that is always a joy. His attendance at this year’s World Impact Dinner was a celebration in many ways – we are thankful for his wisdom and his eagerness to chat with IN friends near and far.
Rody and Kathy, we are so proud of you for your many years of service to the Lord through International Needs. The Lord worked through you to touch many lives in ways that will last an eternity.
