Situation
In Colombia, armed conflict and displacement have uprooted millions of families, leaving children without access to consistent education. Many live in poverty and instability, with little chance to break free from their circumstances. For Venezuelan refugee children, the barriers are even higher, as they try to adapt to a new country while carrying the trauma of displacement.
Solution
La Rosa de Saron (Rose of Sharon) School was founded to serve displaced families in the La Playa area of Barranquilla. Nearly 350 children, including 30 percent who are Venezuelan refugees, receive quality Christian education, daily care, and spiritual encouragement. The school provides both stability and hope, equipping children to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
How Your Gift Helps
Your support helps cover tuition, books, and meals for vulnerable children at La Rosa de Saron School. Gifts also fund teachers and resources that create a safe and encouraging classroom environment. Every donation ensures a child has the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow in faith despite the hardships of displacement and poverty.
