Health & Sanitation

Access to clean water and proper sanitation has been implemented in seven remote villages, where community health teaching and village-based health committees are established.

Situation

Many Ugandan villages lack access to safe drinking water and proper sanitation. Families are forced to use contaminated sources, leading to the spread of waterborne diseases. Poor sanitation and hygiene practices further worsen community health, leaving children especially vulnerable.

Solution

International Needs Uganda has implemented water and sanitation programs in seven rural villages. These efforts include clean water systems, sanitation facilities, and community health teaching. Village-based health committees ensure that improvements are sustained and continue to benefit families long-term.

How Your Gift Helps

Your support helps fund wells, sanitation systems, and hygiene education. Contributions also empower village health committees to sustain improvements. Every donation ensures children and families enjoy safe water, better health, and stronger communities.
