Over a million Zambians live with HIV/AIDS, leaving behind thousands of orphaned children. Families who take in these children, especially widows and grandparents, face overwhelming financial and emotional pressure.
Solution
The Misaka Ministry Center provides food support and agricultural activities that sustain families caring for orphans and vulnerable children. More than 1,000 children benefit through services that meet their needs and strengthen their caregivers.
