Go for hikes with Bethany (wife), Marshall (son), and Margot (black lab – a very good girl). I may also run through the woods on weekends in orienteering competitions, in the Army Reserve, or with the county search and rescue team. That is, if I’m not trying to finish a seminary paper.

What I Like To Do In My Spare Time
Are moms ever off the clock? I have been homeschooling for the last 17 years, so editing papers, re-reading classic literature, learning Latin, and dusting the cobwebs off of high school math and science are still on the docket. In my limited spare time, I enjoy mowing my lawn, lifting weights, personal prayer ministry at church, and binging Bible and faith-related podcasts.
