Country Overview

Vietnam is one of only a few remaining communist countries in the world. With over 100 million people, and only 2% Christian, Vietnam has slowly opened, allowing churches to worship and resume. While evangelism is still a politically restricted activity, the IN Vietnam staff are actively reaching and providing compassionate ministry to the people of this country one village at a time.

For security purposes, the identities of the IN Vietnam staff are not publicized. Publication and distribution of faith-based materials is restricted. But even with these restrictions, workers continue to do whatever it takes to reach out and connect with hurting people.

Children’s evangelism programs reach over 3,900 children annually with Christian education and outreach.

Love Medicine Cabinets are placed in rural churches, far from the city. The poor cannot easily buy medicine when they are sick. This is an opportunity for church planters to connect with hurting people.

A team of 19 community workers actively engage in reaching communities with the love of God, establishing house fellowships, and caring for the sick in some of the most remote areas of North and South Vietnam.
