The Opportunity Is Now
The name of Jesus is increasingly being preached in many of the hardest-to-reach places in the world. The global Church is making strategic strides toward fulfilling the Great Commission. Barriers to the gospel once thought insurmountable are now being overcome to reach those once thought unreachable.
What Are Those Barriers?
- Religious Barriers Places where other religions are dominant and sharing Christ is illegal or can be viewed as a threat.
- Geographic Barriers Places that are physically difficult to access because of rough terrain, remote location or political boundaries that are difficult to cross.
- Conflict Barriers Places where war and fighting make it hard to share the gospel because it is physically dangerous.
- Cultural Barriers Places where Christianity is viewed as foreign, or where there is active hostility toward the gospel.
A World Within Reach
Right now, there are still 3.2 billion people waiting to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Building on the success of our past four-year campaign reaching 1,000,000 people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, our International Needs Partners have mobilized resources and established networks in support of those 1,000,000. It is now time to go Beyond the Million.
