Country Overview

The Philippines is an archipelago of over 7,600 islands located along Southeast Asia’s major water bodies and the Pacific Ring of Fire. This makes it highly prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, typhoons, tsunamis, and landslides.

International Needs Philippines ministry is focused on reaching people in need – children who aren’t in school, struggling families, and impoverished communities. Child sponsorships reach the most vulnerable children through education. Church planting efforts aim at building relationships and bringing whole families into the Kingdom. These ministries seek to lift the less privileged from poverty and share the victory we have in Jesus Christ.

Bishop Leo Alconga

Bishop Leo grew up in an orphanage. His father had left the family, and his mother gave him up so he could have a better chance at getting an education and proper healthcare.

As a child, Leo struggled with anger, especially toward his father. But everything began to change when a pastor introduced him to Jesus. Through faith, he learned to forgive and let go of the pain from his past.

Prior to his role with IN, Bishop Leo spent almost 30 years doing Bible translation work with the International Bible Society. Bishop Leo has a passion to bring hope and healing to families through true transformation in the name of Jesus.

Gospel Outreach

Evangelism Expansion by Extension (EEE) is a focused evangelistic initiative aimed at reaching unreached communities across various ministry areas. Through strategic outreach and extension efforts, EEE seeks to spread the gospel and establish a spiritual presence where it has not yet taken root.
