Situation
In the La Playa community of Barranquilla, many women struggle to provide for their families. Poverty, displacement, and limited job options leave mothers without steady income, forcing them to rely on inconsistent day labor or outside aid. Without practical skills and opportunities, families remain trapped in cycles of dependency.
Solution
The International Needs Sewing Center offers women the chance to learn tailoring and garment production, skills that provide both income and dignity. Graduates of the program design and sell clothing locally and abroad, creating sustainable work that supports their households. The center not only equips women with job skills but also fosters community, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
