WHAT WE DO

Economic Empowerment

The Problem
9.9% of the population lives on less than $3 a day
OUR IMPACT LAST YEAR
7,450 people empowered economically

International Needs’ economic empowerment programs are designed to help individuals break the cycle of poverty and build a stronger, more hopeful future.

From learning practical job skills to launching small businesses, and from gaining financial independence to finding freedom from human trafficking, each step opens the door to safety, stability, and dignity. Our focus is on supporting vulnerable men and women so they can take meaningful steps toward a brighter tomorrow, one where they can thrive, provide for their families, and shape their own futures.

“She is learning basic things such as parts of the computer, typing, simple excel formulas, etc. She is excited and hopes to explore more from future classes. She says, ‘At first I felt a bit uncomfortable but now I enjoy the fellowship.’”
