Glen Vanderkooi
We are honored to have created The Glen Vanderkooi Gospel Outreach Fund, which will further the legacy which Glen was so involved with.
It is with heavy hearts that we share our dear friend and brother in Christ, Glen Vanderkooi, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Today we are mourning, remembering, and celebrating the life of our dear friend Glen Vanderkooi. Glen was a powerful influence in the life and culture of the International Needs family over the past several years, bringing his sharp legal mind, practical insights, and dry sense of humor as a volunteer, advocate, advisor, and campaigner for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Despite a life-altering stroke in 2014 that took his mobility, a large portion of his physical brain, and his professional career, it did not take his love of sharing Jesus with others. He especially valued the practical and effective ways that Jesus is shared through the work of International Needs.
We are honored to have created The Glen Vanderkooi Gospel Outreach Fund, which will further the legacy that Glen was such a part of. Around the world, the Good News will continue to be shared by the direct support of home-grown “missionaries” and locally led ministries who are daily impacting their neighbors with the saving news of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for honoring Glen with us and continuing a legacy that will stay with Kori, their “children”, and the entire Vanderkooi family. Glen’s legacy will not only stay with the family, but it will be carried forward as the gospel continues to be shared around the world.
With grateful hearts,
The IN family.
