Alexandra is a quiet and kind child. Her family calls her Alexa. She has two siblings and she is the eldest. Alexa likes to draw and dreams of becoming a teacher so that she can teach other children like her that live in poverty. She and her sister are in the care of their uncle and aunt because their parents are divorced. One of the livelihoods of the family is farming, but they have suffered financial difficulties during poor seasons for planting and harvesting. By receiving support, Alexa will be able to attend school and have access to resources and opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable.
