Ethel comes from a large family of seven, and they live in a house made of mud bricks in the Volta region of Ghana. Her parents are peasant farmers. While they work very hard, their income is very low and they struggle to support their family. They cannot afford Ethel’s educational expenses, and she does not have school supplies such as a uniform and books. Ethel needs assistance so she can have the materials needed to acquire good, quality education.
