Sanjida is the youngest of four sisters. Her father is a day laborer and her mother is a housewife. They do not have any land of their own, so Sanjida’s father works in the fields of other people. They live in Monga, in northern Bangladesh. This is an ecologically vulnerable and economically weak area. During September, October and November in the rainy season, the people here are unemployed and have no income. Sanjida and her family are so thankful that she can go to the International Needs Bangladesh school.
