Semefa and her family live in a house made of mud in the Volta region of Ghana. She walks about one kilometer to school everyday. Her parents rent a piece of land for farming,and they earn meager incomes. They struggle to meet Semefa’s basic needs and they cannot afford her educational expenses. Semefa is on the verge of dropping out of school and needs assistance to continue receiving a quality education.
