She Had No Choice But to Leave
A family had to leave their home but found a new kind of hope in Colombia
“The reason for our departure from Venezuela was my health.” This was the reality for Rosa Eliana and her husband, Renny, and their two daughters.
“So without having any other alternative, we left everything to start again in Colombia.” Rosa Eliana had been diagnosed with kidney disease and she was no longer able to get the medicine and care that she needed in Venezuela. Getting medical help was absolutely critical.
Rosa Eliana’s health concerns were not their only challenge. Upon settling in the La Playa area of Colombia, Rosa Eliana’s two young daughters were denied entrance to the government school. “Thank God we found Rose of Sharon school,” Rosa Eliana shared recently.
Because of people like you, Rose of Sharon school is able to open its doors to Rosa Eliana’s daughters and other Venezuelan refugees!
Today, Rosa Eliana’s health is improving. Rosa Eliana shares, “We continue trusting in our Lord and we know that no matter what the problems, He will always be helping us.”
Because of people like you, Rosa Eliana and her family have experienced the love of Christ. Please continue to pray for this family as they build their new life in Colombia.
